Home visits are available to people whose illness prevents them from travelling to the surgery. However, we encourage patients to make every effort to attend the surgery as home visiting reduces the total number of patients who can be seen in a day and a full examination may not always be possible in your own home.
Requesting a Visit
To request a visit just ring the surgery on 01597 810231 preferably between 9am and 11am so that we can plan our day. It helps us judge the urgency of calls if you describe the symptoms to our specifically trained receptionists.
Babies & Children
Babies and children with temperatures and rashes are best seen at the surgery. Please tell the receptionist so they are not kept waiting too long.
Transport Difficulties?
In the case of transport difficulties, please speak to the receptionist, who may be able to arrange a volunteer driver.
