Repeat Prescriptions

Patients on regular treatment may be issued with repeat prescriptions at the doctor’s discretion. These may be requested in person, in writing, or online if you wish to order online please Click Here. Please give your computer number if you know it. Twenty-four hours notice would be helpful. If you wish a prescription posted, please enclose a stamped and addressed envelope.

The receptionists can print up any authorised repeat prescription. If you are coming up to your review date (found at the bottom of the prescription counterfoil), please make an appointment with your usual doctor for a review of your treatment. Prescription requests that have not been pre-authorised will be passed to one of the doctors who will decide whether they can be issued. This process takes time and there may well be a delay of more than twenty-four hours before it can be collected. The receptionist will not be able to guarantee that such a prescription will be issued – you may be asked to come and be seen by one of the doctors first.

Repeat prescriptions can be collected from the surgery, or be sent to the Rowlands Pharmacy on West Street.
